Product works great, next day dispatch. Easy to use and the backlight allows you to check the temperature in the dark. No more annoying kids to check their temperature while they sleep. just a quick non-contact scan and you'll have your temperature in 1 second. I know that many of these can have battery hogs, so I just flip the battery cover down when I'm not using them and essentially eliminate that possibility completely. BUT this is not due to inaccuracy. This is because your forehead temperature is lower than inside you (orally). It's about 0.5 to 1 degree colder. Not exactly little for a forehead scanner. It reads right. It reads as "low" compared to the oral test. So you need to add about half to 1 degree to your temperature to get your oral temperature. Why don't they just make the temperature 1 degree warmer? Because then it will be inaccurate as it is not the temperature of your forehead. With such tight tolerances for what is and isn't a fever (less than 3 degrees have been said), it should be as accurate as possible. So if you're used to naming something 100 or more on a verbal fever check, just name anything over 99 fever on the forehead scanner and you're good to go. Quite easy. In any case it works perfectly, it came quickly, the best price. So I definitely recommend this purchase. Hope that helps!
