Great bang for the buck for filling the room inside and outside (weatherproof) of your home. The sound will fill a medium-sized room in the house perfectly; outside on the patio near the unit. The sound quality is excellent up to the maximum volume. Then it starts to distort. The controls are easy to understand, with the exception of programming local FM channels. The manual does not explain this. The only reason I knew it could program local frequencies was from the Revain reviews, and then I had to fiddle with the knobs to figure it out. This is a long press on the 'next song' button. Batteries are not required as it is USB rechargeable. Even the IR remote control comes with a small watch battery. No USB charger is included. Almost everyone will do it. The USB cable is very short.
