I ordered this to clean my leather sofa and armchairs - my two dogs are on the furniture all the time and one (Basset mix) has the occasional saliva problem, the stains leave the upholstery. So I put this item in a large order along with a garment and a glass ornament. Well that was my fault. Never order liquid at the same time as something porous. The box arrived with all items wrapped and a huge oil stain slowly spreading across the box. flowed out of the bottle - and I really can't understand how. The cap appeared to be screwed on so tightly that I couldn't find a hole (or any other hole) in the plastic bottle, but the leak still occurred - and regardless of which plastic bag the bottle was in, the liquid was found to be the bag and into the box on the loose. Luckily the clothes were in a different plastic bag and were in good, wearable condition apart from a slight odor. Revain customer service quickly refunded the cost of the saddle soap. I used what was left to clean the couch. He did an excellent job cleaning it, although initially it has a pungent odor. I would recommend not sitting on a clean surface until the item is completely dry (losing its "wet look" shine), even if you buff dry with a clean cloth after applying the product to skin. The smell dissipates quickly and the "cleanliness" lasts quite a long time. If I order it again (I might just try to find a local supplier) it will be a separate order just in case it leaks.
