Review on ASUS VA32UQ Monitor FreeSync DisplayPort HDR10 31.5", 3840X2160P, Built-In Speakers, Blue Light Filter, Ultrawide Screen, HDMI, HD by Mazen Sirgio

Revainrating 5 out of 5

It's been a month and still no complaints.

I don't like looking right back after taking something out of the box. I want to use it first. This is my first 4K display and at 32 inches it takes up a lot of space, but I could have gone for something bigger. However, it can be used and it looks like the price of the next option will increase significantly. relevant to displays in general, not just models dead pixels on monitors are a fact of life due to the critical alignment of the driver matrix, the wires are very thin therefore almost all warranties on new monitors consider a certain dead pixel count does not constitute a defect. I had assumed it would be worse with a 4K display, but I'm happy to report that there isn't a single dead pixel anywhere on the monitor, and the brightness is adequate, although I have the rear windows open the south side of the building. While glare can be bad, the screen is bright enough to cut through. In addition, the screen appears evenly illuminated over the entire surface. No highlights are visible at the edges or in areas that are darker than others. impressive for a panel of this size. I use it in my office and am considering getting a second one for home. The price was right, the quality of the display is good, it has a leg wide enough to keep it stable in both directions (side to side). and front to back) and the power button is on the bottom so you don't have to reach for it to turn it on and off like some monitors I've seen. It also has a VESA mount so you can mount it on a wall mount or stand if you wish. I made quite a few purchases initially, so I can say with some confidence that if you're looking for an expensive, quality 32-inch 4K monitor in early 2020, you're going to have a hard time finding anything better. than this is anywhere near the price. I don't play with it, so I can't comment on how responsive it is, but I can recommend it for general use.
