I've seen some bad reviews about these batteries supplied by DOA to others. Well, when I put them in the phone, the display didn't light up or show any characters. When the phone was placed in the charging cradle, the message "Insert batteries" appeared on the display. At that moment I regretted not paying attention to the 1 star reviews. The battery voltage was 1.2 volts (nominal) so I couldn't figure out why the phone wasn't recognizing the cells. But wait! Closer inspection reveals that the clear plastic sheath covering the battery extends beyond the negative end and contracts slightly around the bottom of the cell. This prevented the negative terminal from making contact with the phone connector. I removed the clear plastic wrap 1/16" from the end of the bottom of the cell and the batteries are now making contact with the phone as well as my charger/AC (where they weren't previously connected). After trimming, the batteries look exactly like the OEM cells they replace. I gave them a star for trouble.
