I have this towel for use in water class Y. It is enough to lightly wrap my body and dry off after the pool and then after the shower. It doesn't get wet or feel heavy when wet. It is absorbent enough for these tasks. It's big enough to take to the beach or other activities. It's also soft and doesn't feel like suede. It's nice. So far I've washed it along with other pool items using a gentle quick cycle and a drop of soap. I hung it out to dry since it's summer. The color I got is Sea Foam, a muted light green. The image on my computer screen doesn't accurately represent this color, but I don't really care about the color, and curly sea foam will be light green anyway. The Aquis Adventure microfiber towel is just perfect. In fact, I was so pleased with it that I ordered another one. The large would probably be big enough to dry, but I needed enough length to wrap, so consider your height and needs. That's a good towel. Update a month later: I have machine dried this towel several times on a low dryer setting. He's like new. I use it several times a week and wash it every time. I'm glad I got it. Funnily enough, this towel was so easy and pleasant to use that I have not yet used the second towel I ordered. The towel comes in a small pouch and makes a great gift for the gym rat in your life.
