Can't comment on durability yet but the parts are very flexible so I think it should hold up well. I've read reviews of corner chipping to no great benefit. I think it depends on how you put it on. The first time I tried putting the top on I snapped the top 2 clips onto the top and then attached it to the bottom of the screen. However, due to the manufacturing process, the bottom corners of the top, which correspond to the bottom of the screen, have some plastic protrusions covering part of the corners (see images 1, 2 and 6). So 3 of the 4 corners fit fine, but the 4th corner has been stressed and warped up (like when you peel off a sticker and one of the corners is up and the other sides are flat). I could see it breaking in the future because it had firmly hugged three sides, but the fourth side was up. So I tried it differently. I recommend putting the top on by first trying to hook the bottom corners of the screen by sliding it up (don't worry it won't break as it's quite flexible) and then sliding it down the corners. Snap into the bottom of the top. Keep pushing it until you can clip up the top two clips at the top of the screen [Figure 4]. It helps to close the MacBook to snap them in place with some pressure. I only put it on today, so I can't comment on fingerprints. I've played around with him a lot today and he doesn't seem to have gotten through grades yet. You can still see the silhouette of the apple if that's important to you. All in all it looks like a good case. I also like the keyboard cover, it doesn't move. As seen in the photos, it comes with two covers, one with an exit key and the other without. I would just buy a regular set with a hard case and keyboard protector because USB-C adapters don't work at all. They felt cheap and some of the paint(?) was peeling off and didn't fit fully into the zipper openings. Maybe it's for the Intel version? I would definitely recommend a case from this brand, but not a set with two USB-C adapters! I will update when it starts showing signs of wear like fingerprints, peeling etc. It shouldn't start, especially since I'm leaving it in my room right now. Hope this is helpful!
