Without voice control

I don't know what SIRI voice control is. I was hoping I could say "Hi Siri thumbs down," which doesn't seem to be the case at all. It's a cool concept. If it was $20-$30 I could potentially ignore the lack of voice controls as I was willing to ignore the lack of emoji.
