Sorry you didn't read the reviews before buying! In short, it didn't work. The clutch does not engage. It slides with little friction. Long - I bought this for a cart I built for my nephew's birthday. I installed a new engine and needed a new clutch assembly. Unpacked, the item makes a solid and well-made impression. It screws straight onto the 1 inch motor shaft fairly easily. My nephew jumped up and we started the engine and he gradually accelerated. The cart went nowhere. I told him to give it more gas but the cart barely moved. His disappointment was written all over his face. I jumped up and gave the car full throttle and it slowly started to move. After about 100 meters it reached what I can only assume top speed. The clutch slipped all the time. When I got back to the shop the clutch was hot. Of course my nephew had to return home without being able to play with his new toy and I will be returning this clutch immediately. Extremely disappointed.
