They are great with kids. Much better than spending money on better headphones only to lose or damage them within a day or two. With them, once they lose them or break the wires or lose the earpad, I can just give them a new pair without breaking the bank. And if I exercise caution when buying a new pair, it will increase the incentive to try to make them last, and they might learn a lesson too. They sound like crap and are cheaply made, but they'll do the job.
