Review on ๐Ÿธ Stay Dry with FROGG TOGGS Toadz Anura Rain Jacket: Waterproof Protection at its Best by Jeremy Yuusuf

Too big and a bit strange. .

First of all, the size. The jacket runs a bit big. We ordered a medium for my boyfriend and it fits like an XL. Even in a leather jacket, it remains very spacious underneath. Although oversized, velcro cuffs prevent oversized sleeves from stretching excessively past the wrists. The material has some weight and bulk and is also a bit stiff. It's not thin like a windbreaker and seems to last a while. I expect it will soften a bit over time. There are two large zipped pockets on the outside chest and a few inside. Two more open pockets are closer to the bottom of the jacket specifically for the hands. All zips are open, allowing rain to seep through them during a downpour. My friend intends to use the jacket while cycling in the rain so he thought a protected visor hoodie would really help. However, the visor moves back quickly and doesn't stay in place despite double drawstring closures on either side of the hoodie. When the drawstring closures are tightened, it pulls the body of the jacket up rather than pinning the sweatshirt and visor on top of the head. Maybe it's because the jacket is too big? I'm not sure. last thing. The opening of the neck is similar. cavernous. Nobody can have such a wide neck. Maybe to release the heat/moisture that stays in the jacket? I see other jackets also have the same oversized neck opening. The cavernous opening appears to create an easy entry for rain. Either way, if you're using it for walking in the rain, it's likely to keep you cozy and dry (except for the huge neck opening).

Pros
  • Not cheap, but decent
Cons
  • Security
