Our box was poorly packed, there should have been more packing inside but no damage. This is a very sturdy box and PERFECT for kids or anyone who stores a lot of stuff in it. Something like a "kids briefcase”. =) Has 2 very strong 4" loops on the back. Storage dimensions "inside": 15" wide x 9" deep x 3 1/2" high. This is just the right internal size for convenient storage of different sized papers, notepads etc. Others have specified a depth measurement with an additional value on each side of the handle, this cannot be taken into account when storing paper.
