TL;DR: Great overall, but the seat is moderately soft and the trailing edge is too small to provide support. For the price, this chair is pretty good. Compact, stylish, easy to assemble, comfortable faux leather, the lift works well. In general I am very satisfied. However, two things are a bit disappointing after reading other reviews. 1) The pillow is not as soft as I expected; The seat is not hard, but not soft either. I sit in it 6-7 hours a day and at the end of the day I'm tempted to swap it out for my old chair which doesn't fit the table but has more padding. And 2) The back lip just looks cool and serves as a handle to move the chair under my butt so I can sit down. He hugs my cheeks, but I don't see how that could offer any kind of 'support'.
