I recently ordered a set of these cables to charge devices in the car. Luckily I didn't need the curls and wanted to cut them off. If I received the product with the intention of using the pre-installed rings I would be very upset. The cables work as intended without any problems and allow you to charge the car with a maximum current of 32 amps. However, poor insulation quality control prevents me from recommending these cables to others.
