I bought this to help with the switch from automatic to manual in my 01 TJ because I didn't want to deal with the stock connection as the manual transmission took the T body an inch from its automatic pushes back transmission position. First off, there were no instructions, but there are some great installation videos on YouTube. Also, it's pretty easy to install. You'll struggle with the cable, but it will eventually fit. Adjustment is easy, just make sure the jam nuts are tight. 4lo the gearing feels much better and also off-road and in the flex the shifter works without any problems in contrast to the standard linkage. 100% one of the best upgrades you can make.
