Review on MingDak LED Aquarium Light: Submersible Crystal Glass Lights for a Stunning Underwater Display - White/Blue Light Options by Kelly Porter

I can not get enough of this.

I keep ordering more. You are perfect for me. I have 31 tanks and extensions. I have installed them in all my new aquariums. I have them in a dozen 10 gallon tanks, a few 20 gallon tanks and six 40 gallon grow tanks. I even placed four of them on my 55th long. At 75 gallons long, it wasn't good at all. Highlighting a side of 10 gallons creates cool shading. It's not directly above the tank, so the light hits everything at an angle. Cool shadows I guess. The brightness is sufficient for an aquarium of this size. Even plants will grow this close to the light. It's not a bright light, but it's enough to illuminate the aquarium. Anything over 20 gallons I fill more than one. I put them on all edges of the tank. Front, rear and side lighting. On my 55 gallons I used two in the back, two in the front and one on each side. I think it's so cool to see everything evenly lit without anything hanging over the tank. I moved them all the way up so you can't see where the light is coming from. It is very nice to see that the tank is fully illuminated in this way. It's soft, light, and has a comforting brightness you'd expect from a display case in a fish case. It's not bright daylight, it's more like a dawn sunrise just before the creatures cast their shadows. I have bought many of these and in all of these purchases I have not had any failures. The suction cups are strong. I have no problem keeping them in place.
