Review on πŸ“± i-Blason Armorbox Case for iPod Touch 5th/6th/7th Gen, Full Body with Built-in Screen Protector, Black by Michael Olsen

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Looks good - body

Very good and much, much better than any cheaper ones I've had. Fits perfectly. The online instruction video is a bit cryptic but easy to understand. The plastic screen protector is nice and doesn't show dust or air bubbles like covers usually do, although I did thoroughly clean the screen before installing it. A nice and perhaps unintended feature is that you can pull the belt clip out of its base and use the base to protect the front of the device when you're not using your iPod. It seems this box can withstand a lot of abuse, but let's face it: until Consumers Reports or some other testing organization is willing to objectively test this class of item, including destroying large numbers of phones/iPods, we never really will know how good any pattern is for serious protection. But this one looks like it will offer plenty of protection. Note---Don't tear off the belt clip like I suggest if you want to use the clip. I doubt it will turn back on. It took a decent amount of force and a butter knife to pry/remove. Even with the belt clip, this piece offers solid protection on both sides - the clip just makes the whole package look bulky and unwieldy.

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • No performance
