Has worked for about 8 months. Now is there a quirk where the batteries seem to keep disconnecting? You have to take them out and put them back in for it to work. This applies to existing batteries or new batteries that you may add. (In other words, it has nothing to do with low batteries). You have to keep moving the batteries to make the right connection. This will work for a while. then nothing, and you've got your back to picking with batteries. In the end I just gave up and bought a new radio. other brand.
