Revainrating 2 out of 5

Didn't work at all.

I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 because I think mine had a bad one and if you can get one that actually works it's probably a great stabilizer. Mine wouldn't do as I told him. I tried buttons and app and nothing worked. It will get out of control. Zoom didn't work. If I told him to zoom in a little, he would zoom all the way in, and then I couldn't get him to zoom out. It didn't behave like a gimbal and performed even the simplest panning. Super shaky. I have a Panasonic DC ZS70S and it is comparable to this gimbal but it doesn't work like that. Maybe it was my special suspension. I ended up sending it back and requesting a replacement which got lost in the mail and never arrived (not the company's fault but I just finished this gimable). So I got a refund and bought a Zhiyun Crane M2. Works flawlessly! I wouldn't recommend the Feiyu G6 Plus because it seems LOTS of people are getting bad ones. Check out Zhiyun Crane M2 first, if your camera is compatible, I would recommend using it. It's also smaller, lighter and comes with a tripod (unlike the Feiye G6 Plus). FYI, my camera is compatible with the Panasonic DC ZS70S (I don't see it mentioned too often on these gimbals).

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Easy maintainability
