Review on 💾 Delkin Devices DCFX1-128 Power CFexpress Type B Memory Card 128GB by Kirk Womack

I purchased a 1TB CFexpress card through Revain and after seeing the card's box and label say the card's write speed is 1430MB/s I contacted Revain -Support to get a replacement. The replacement card arrived 24 hours later (great, Revain!), but the box and label on the card also said it had a write speed of 1430MB/s. So I called Delkin support to see what was going on. Delkin support reported, that the labels on this batch of 1TB cards were wrong and the write speed of the 1TB CFexpress card was actually as advertised and reached its maximum speed. 1540MB/s. Support offered to send a replacement card immediately within 48 hours. But they also confirmed that the speed difference was just a cosmetic/labeling error and the card's performance was as advertised. At first I was 'ok' with the card when I did a quick test with my Canon EOS R5 by taking 10 minutes of 8K video recording and about 1000 electronic shutter photos at 20fps and the card behaved well with no errors; Photos and videos were ok. However, the Delkin support rep asked what camera I was using and after learning that it was a Canon EOS R5, the employee recommended replacing it as he said the 1TB card needed a firmware update. They sent the card and I expect to receive it soon. At this point I will have an opportunity to practice with this card and update my review. But for now 3 stars for advertising/shipping a mislabeled product that requires firmware to work properly with the Canon EOS R5. I'm not sure why Revain & Delkin are just tackling this problem and hopefully sparing others the headache.
