I originally bought a bigger diaper bag and realized for daily running it was way too big so I bought this one a couple weeks after baby was born. You can easily access items in the bottom of the bag thru the back zipper, which I've found handy more than once. The items I carry in the bag are: thermos for hot water, small container of formula, a ziplock of 6 diapers, a change of clothes and sleeper, bottle, a trash bag, for summer his swimsuit and a swim diaper, sunscreen. In the front pocket: his Tylenol, gas drops, gripe water, spoon, food jar, extra pacifier, diaper cream. And in the side pockets wipes and a cloth to put down for changing tables so he's not on a dirty surface. There is a strap in the back that I will use for a flannel blanket just in case.
