Cheap lightweight alternative to heavy tarps. I bought these last minute for a multi day river trip after the weather forecast added the possibility of a thunderstorm and I was planning to sleep in a hammock. It's a good thing I did, because after arriving at camp the second night, a violent thunderstorm started coming through the mountains. I quickly draped the tarp over my Eno double jack with just a few seconds left. I lay in my hammock under this tarpaulin and the storm (with wind) hit the area, but not a single drop touched me. If you're cheap and don't care about having branded BS, buy this. I would suggest tying the stretch marks ahead of time in case you find yourself in an emergency like I did. Plan to use the Eno hammock diagonally. Update: Another saved night. Me and some buddies went camping in the middle of summer and just after dark we were hit by a big storm. All three of us winced and eventually fell asleep underneath it.
