I have been using it for about 4 years, with an old Sony NW-A805 player. The Clear Bass feature gives great bass here, which combined with good mid-highs and great positioning (since they are playable) puts you on stage with your favorite band :) I especially advise for an alternative, it is difficult to choose a bunch better, and if you take into account the relatively low price . Compared with a bunch of Cowon V5 + Audio-Technica ATH-M50. These also sound good (although they cost 3-4 times more;) but Sony does not reach SS +, m50 sold after 3 months.
