In the foreword, Design Essentials is my holy grail for 4C hair products. I live and swear by their Stimulating Rosemary Mint Super Moisturizing Conditioner for Dry, Brittle Hair, which I buy in 32-ounce cans and can't live without. When I first used this, I prewashed my hair as usual and then conditioned it. I was a bit worried that my hair would get more tangled than usual and it was really difficult to work with, but I went ahead and left it on for a while. I washed it off and was very disappointed. I was almost certain I was going to go bald because I had lost so much hair from the tangle. Now I was stupid and felt like I did something wrong the first time so I used it again and got the same result. This time it was so bad that I started crying in the shower. I can't believe how much hair I've lost AGAIN! I'm very disappointed with this and think I'll toss the jar and stick with the mint and rosemary rinse. "better" but I think I've learned my hard lesson now and will stick with what works. :( I haven't had good experiences with it.
