I'm on a mission to find the best headphones on the best budget (ie less than $50). No, they're a bit more expensive than the $69 models, but they look like budget models. Mating - They mate very easily the first time and subsequent times. The instructions are pretty good - there is a quick start guide and a normal manual. I don't think they were written by a native English speaker, but they're not funny. Except for the typo on the cover (i.e. TURE instead of TRUE). The controls are fine folks - play/pause should *always* be a single tap. For real. But digdiy people think play/pause is double tap and single tap changes volume. However, they work very well - they are neither too sensitive nor too sensitive enough. Your hair will not change its volume. Case - I think the case was supposed to charge wirelessly, but I couldn't. The case is very similar to the airpod case. There are 4 indicators on the front that show you how much battery is left - I prefer the LED screen that shows the percentage. There is a reset button on the case, which I really like. I haven't seen that in other cases. Battery life - the headphones have around 5 hours of use and the case around 35. One of the headphones stopped working after around 4 hours - not sure if it was the battery as there was no voice notification. Although it doesn't seem to charge. Phone calls - other people sounded ok but I sounded awful to them so the mics leave a lot to be desired. DO NOT buy these if you intend to use them for phone calls. ANC is really good. Press the right button for 2-3 seconds and you will hear a beep. And that's where the ANC comes in. Repeat this and you will get a double beep - ANC is off. late - wow. I can't stand it when mouths and voices don't match. There's a very slight lag with them, but it's not bad. But it is noticeable, especially when spoken quickly. Sound quality is better with noise cancellation enabled, but still not great or terrible. Without ANC, a very slight hissing can be heard. The music sounded ok, but not like I was there. Streaming video sounded good. TL; DR: At $69.99, they should do a lot better than sub-$50 budget headphones, but they don't. ANC is great, sound is ok. Latency isn't bad, but you can find cheaper buds that are better.
