LIKE: The most important thing for me? Works well on my Copper Chef induction hob, although how (why) remains a mystery. Easy to use, relatively quick brewing and easy to clean. The metal is probably stainless steel. Competitive price. DON'T LIKE: When I bought an induction compatible espresso machine, I was expecting a heavy magnetic base. No, that is not so. The entire unit is constructed from medium gauge stamped sheet metal. For example, the bottom of the tank (water tank) is made of thin, non-magnetic metal, except for the threaded part, which is magnetic. The coffee basket (grind) that fits in the lower tank IS magnetic, but its water tube (inlet) is not. The upper unit (coffee chamber), like the lower water tank, is non-magnetic except for the threaded part (and the top cover). There are no marks on any of the three components that make up this espresso machine. for example: 18/08 or 18/10 (stainless steel) or "Made in China"
