Review on Renewed JBL Quantum 300 Gaming Headphones with Quantum Engine Software - Over-Ear, Wired, Black by Vanchay Peawang ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Nothing unusual, a normal product.

In terms of sound, everything is at the highest level, listening to music is a pleasure, there are no problems in games either, there is nothing to complain about. By weight, they are very light, because. completely made of plastic, sit in them for a couple of hours and forget that the headphones are even on you. External sounds are cut off very well, even if you listen to music at a low volume, nothing distracts from the outside. The cable is long enough to reach where you need to. And now the cons, which really disappointed me. 1) The plastic from which the ears are made is VERY fragile, the quality is below average (for this price), therefore, you need to be very careful with the headphones, they have almost no endurance. 2) Microphone. In general, the sound quality from it is acceptable, although the voice still noticeably distorts + you can not adjust the position of the microphone relative to the mouth. This leads to the following drawback, the microphone is very loud if you listen to music at least at an average volume, but your interlocutors in the conditional Discord will also listen to it, it is partially treated by the noise reduction of the discord, but where there is no such function there is nothing to be done. 3) software. Everything related to the sound from the headphones is regulated by three points: Balance, Thin, Immersion, the difference between them is noticeable, but forget about fine-tuning the sound, the maximum equalizer can be adjusted for some head diameter. Further, in the microphone, you can only adjust the volume and nothing more. For comparison: through the standard Realtek HD drivers, you can adjust the volume, microphone gain, noise reduction from various sources (background, keyboard, etc.), set directional recording, automatic voice recognition, etc., there is nothing in JBL software . Further, the software periodically changes the sound settings itself, although in the settings everything is as before, but if you change something again and return it as it was, the difference with the original sound will be felt. Ultimately, I only recommend headphones to those who use little or no voice and listen to music and play games a lot. For me they were a disappointment.

Pros
  • Excellent sound quality Comfortably sit on the head Good passive noise isolation Good and long cable
Cons
  • Low quality headphone materials Poor microphone quality Unable to adjust microphone position The sound from the headphones plays into the microphone. Poorly designed software
