I liked it so much I bought TWO

Excellent condition. It's built like a tank. The base is heavy so you can easily place an iPad table (9.7 inch) on it. The mount comes with a number of wrenches that you can use to tighten the connections should they ever come loose. The base of the stand has small rubber pads to keep it from slipping or scratching what you put it on. I first bought it for my mom because every time she spoke to me from her tablet (she put it on the coffee table) all I could see was the back of her neck. Now she

Delighted at first, now useless

Purchased in October 2018. I really liked it. However, in early January 2020, one of the plastic handles holding the tablet broke. I contacted AboveTEK to purchase the defective part. Customer support was responsive. I was asked to send photos of the defective part, which I did. As a result, they told me that since the stand is a little over 12 months old, they could not help in any way. Couldn't sell me a defective part. UPDATE ON MY FIRST REVIEW: Yesterday I received a defective item with the swivel ball joint not working properly. I contacted the seller and he responded very quickly and resolved the situation. They not only emailed me but also called me to try to fix the problem. They replaced the item free of charge and sent it via Priority UPS. I received it today. Nearly perfect! But the clip for the tablet is terrible.

This seems to be the best desktop tablet stand. The arm is very well designed, the base is heavy and stable, and it has excellent non-slip feet. Even the ball joint on top has enough friction to hold a fairly heavy tablet in place while being highly adjustable. The only problem is the clip that holds the tablet. If you compare it to the same manufacturer's AddTek "Retail Kiosk" tablet stand, which is likely to be seen on this page, you will see that the clip has many places to grab it to hold…

Exceeded expectations

I originally ordered another iPad stand which was very flimsy but expensive and looked like it should be $15 but I ended up paying around $30. I started looking for a better design. Stumbled across this one and decided to give it a try. The construction is very strong and HEAVY to carry heavy iPads. I am so happy with my purchase. VERY SATISFIED --- Verified Buyer.
