Efficient Ice Removal Made Easy with Amazon Basics Ice Scraper Review

I made this purchase to remove the rain cover from a used Jeep that I bought in February. It worked great removing the adhesive without scratching the pain. It worked much better and faster than the floss recommended in the YouTube video.

Worst ice scraper! You have to go over the same area 3-4 times before it picks up the ice and then you have to scrape another 3-4 times to get even scratches. My reader card (which I'm going back to) allows me to get the job done faster and more efficiently. save your money

I wanted a small scraper to keep on the passenger side floor when I need the scraper. I live in Ohio and it's pretty bad in here. I've been using it for 2 winters now and it does exactly what I need it to do and I've never had to use another scraper.

I would like to give this product five stars but it runs very small. Great for little hands and for people who don't mind icing their hands. Ideal for people who don't have storage space in their car. Great for people who want to carry an ice scraper in their pocket or even purse!

Unlike the ice scraper I used 30 years ago, this ice scraper has no sharp edges. You will get streaks of ice where the scraper didn't cut. Looking at it I don't see a problem but I definitely can after using it. Gives me twice as much work as the old scrapers. Three stars because it's better than using my nails.

I live in downtown New York, have endured over half a century of winters and have felt worn out by countless ice scrapers. Used it on my car windshield after a recent snowstorm. Couldn't remove all the ice and frost and scrapers I've used in the past so I had to blast the windshield defroster and wait for everything else to melt. I will be buying this item locally in the future.

This was bought for my son who lives in Seattle. During my visit in November and December, we used it to de-ice the car every morning. What a pain to "go back to Texas," we don't have an ice problem! He was very practical, was strong, did his job. Buy it if you live in a cold freezing place. Or move to Texas, then no need to buy it!

I live in PNW where we only get a few snowfalls a year but gets freezing in the winter. This scraper handles snow well but not ice as it is made entirely of plastic and is not very durable. I keep it because I rarely need a scraper and it works well enough if I run the window defroster for a while first, but if you live somewhere that requires a hard scraper I'd look elsewhere.

Reading other reviews on this scraper it seems like the 5 star ratings were written before it was used. After several uses, I can say that it worked, but at a below-average level. In fact, the scraper edge is not very strong. Signs of wear are already visible after 3 uses. After each use, the untouched streaks of ice get bigger and require more effort to clean my windshield.
