Has sharp steel legs that protrude from the base
If you don't have a bench grinder and/or file I wouldn't bother. When I first put it in our closet, it scratched the surface. I took it to my grinder and sharpened the 4 sharp feet under the bottom ring. It's now safe to slip into a closet or slide across the counter. That's a terrible design.
