Review on WOSODA Trail Game Camera (2 Pack) - 16MP 1080P Waterproof Hunting Scouting Cam for Wildlife Monitoring with Night Vision LY123 by Jay Swearengin

I decided to try one of those cheap camera traps because Browning told me they could NOT fix my 8 year old $100 camera trap because it was outdated. I bought another cheap one but the photo quality was poor or almost non-existent and I didn't have high hopes for it despite the 4.5 star rating in the reviews. When it arrived I was impressed with the solid build quality and installed it straight away. The instructions were relatively clear, but they were tiny and I had to dig out a magnifying glass to read them. There was a hummingbird feeder on the ground next to our porch and we suspected raccoons. We had several videos between 8pm and midnight where we only saw movement because the wind was blowing large plants or large bugs flying around. Then there was an inexplicable gap between the last video around midnight and one just after 4am when a raccoon was sighted, but the feeder was already eight feet away. On the third night it happened again but the gap was between 8pm and midnight when there was activity but the feeder was still up and we could watch the raccoons eat it while the possum took advantage of what the raccoons did before sunrise had done. . Picture quality is excellent both night and day, but the mysterious gap is confusing and frustrating. We have an identical camera on the way and this one is coming back. Maybe the second camera works as it should. UPDATE: The second camera seems to provide even sharper image quality than the first at night. We had another long hiatus with no activity, but nothing to assess if anything happened during that hiatus. I will update again once we have determined if this camera is having a similar boot issue as the other or if nothing happened when booting the camera. I'm adding a star for excellent video quality both day and night. UPDATE 2 The video quality on this camera is way better than what I've seen on trail cameras that cost 4 times the price of this camera. There were obvious problems with the launch of the first. I'm having the same issues with it too, but they're not that obvious. As a result, I can't say for sure if they actually exist or if I'm just being paranoid based on my experience with the former. What I can say with certainty is that the video quality is exceptional both day and night. I don't think I'll be sending this back.
