Review on πŸŒ€ Matthews Eliza 56" Outdoor/Indoor Damp Locations Hugger Ceiling Fan - Brushed Nickel Finish, Remote and Wall Control, 3 Blades by Michele Denzer

Cheap! Cheap! Cheap! And I don't mean the price

Terrible quality for an overpriced fan. If you think you're crazy enough to pay $500 for a ceiling fan, at least you're getting a premium product, you're wrong. One would think that the manufacturer would at least put some effort into delivering an average quality product at this price point. The blade finish has blisters on the good side. Bad sanding/painting! Before chrome plating, there is debris/impurity in the screws so a screwdriver won't fit in, the 'decorative' trim is off-white, totally different from the rest of the product and sticks out like a real thumb, and there's this weird gap between the blades and the engine case, resulting in an unfinished spirit. One more thing, if you have light switches with 2 or more groups, your wall mounted remote is sized to fit YOUR own supplied faceplate. Your remote mount is slightly wider than the standard trim panel (Leviton etc) so you'd be unlucky installing it into an existing multi-junction box. Just a horrible execution of a good simple design.
