They are carried by an eight-year-old boy. Love her we are on third couple due to height. They have held up and looked better than the Adidas and Under Armor shoes I bought in August, both of which already have holes. NB is best for a very active 8 year old. I like how it closes. So much so that I wish they had the same mechanism in adult shoes for me! On the last two pairs it has held up well to daily use, I really thought the string would break but it didn't. My son loves them, they open and close just for fun so they've really been tested A LOT so I'll give them a 10/10 for durability. I also give the shoe a 10/10 for overall durability! I will continue to take them as they offer the best value for money. The last pair I bought lasted a year. It looks worn but has no holes and still works well. His legs just grew out of them.
