I have a compactor in my kitchen. The bags recommended by the manufacturer are insanely expensive. I've tried several other supposedly durable bags as replacements for the manufacturer-recommended ones. No comparison to Hefty Steelsak garbage bags. The rest is torn apart while compacting the debris. Others leak and cause unnecessary cleaning. These Hefty Steelsak bags are durable, a good size and can withstand multiple compressions. I highly recommend them for this and any other heavy junk.
