The only other experience I had with UA shoes was a pair of Charged Bandit 3s, which I'm now considering for gym use. Almost every other UA product in my family meets or exceeds expectations, but my first pair of shoes was a bit disappointing. They weren't very comfortable and despite the HeatGear socks, they always seemed to keep my feet warm. During Prime Day, the Charged Assert model appeared at a very good price. I decided to roll the dice as they were cheap enough that I might as well use them for gym use if I didn't like it. Thankfully, this purchase is a different experience. They are more comfortable to wear all day and my feet don't feel too hot. The jury is out for the long run but so far I'm very happy with these shoes for the price paid and how they outperform the slightly more expensive (at the time of purchase) Bandit models.
