For me, it's a better shoe than the slightly more expensive Charged Bandit 3

The only other experience I had with UA shoes was a pair of Charged Bandit 3s, which I'm now considering for gym use. Almost every other UA product in my family meets or exceeds expectations, but my first pair of shoes was a bit disappointing. They weren't very comfortable and despite the HeatGear socks, they always seemed to keep my feet warm. During Prime Day, the Charged Assert model appeared at a very good price.
