Review on 🐓 Chicken and Brown Rice Life Protection Formula: Blue Buffalo's Natural Senior Dry Dog Food by Jennifer Tillman

I have an 11 year old pug named Baboo and we have fed him Blue Buffalo dog food since he was a child. We started giving him 1/2 cup of the blue buffalo chicken and brown rice recipe twice a day. Pugs tend to gain weight due to their diet and lack of exercise. However, Babu has always been in a good weight range when eating Blue Buffalo (about 20 pounds). As Babu got older, our vet wanted us to switch him to a senior food that had exactly the same ingredients but fewer calories. We slightly adapted it to the older Blue Buffalo chicken and brown rice recipe. Babu has always liked his granules, but it was starting to make his teeth uncomfortable. Eventually he stopped eating because of this and we had to feed him bite after bite (which took FOREVER)! After cleaning his teeth and speaking to the vet, they recommended mixing his food with soft/wet cans. Luckily, Blue Buffalo also does canning and I bought a chicken dinner with veggies. We start feeding Baba a quarter cup of pellets and mix them into soft/moist canned food. The canned food made the pieces a little softer and more comfortable on Babu's teeth. Luckily it worked out great and we never had to hand feed Baba again! He chews his food like a champ. I want to say a big "thank you" to Blue Buffalo for giving my dog a wonderful life and keeping him healthy all these years!
