According to the instructions I washed the bathrobe before putting it on. It turned out to be a nightmare! When the washing machine went through the spin cycle, the bathrobe did not release any water. I just put the machine on the spin cycle but it still won't dispense any water. I checked the washing machine for a spin problem (I'm a machine repairman) and found no problems with the washing machine. I had to take my wet bathrobe out of the washing machine (heavy as it was) and hang it over the tub to let the water drip out. It was still wet the next day but not as bad as the day before when I hung it up. Then I put it in the dryer to dry. Eventually it all dried up, but it took about an hour. I have never had such washing/drying problems with any clothes including jeans. I'm afraid to wash it again. I'm happy to give it back. I think that thing could cost me my washing machine.
