Review on Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM lens, black by Yoonki Baek ᠌

The product does not match the description, poor quality.

Do not buy this lens. Of course, the 50mm f1.8 is even worse in quality, but its price is much more pleasant and the design is stronger, and if you choose a good copy, you will be pleased. 50 f1.4 has a drawback - if you accidentally press on the front retractable part, or at least hit it lightly, the guide bends there, the focus starts to play and autofocus accuracy is lost (and not too accurate in the Canon system anyway). I tested 1.8, on it the entire lower part of the picture was blurred on it (or the upper one, depending on the focus). Therefore, I bought myself a 1.4, I thought it was more expensive, so it's better - nothing like that. It is better to choose a good instance of 1.8, and not mess with 1.4 at all. f1.4 it definitely does not have a working hole and autofocus, in addition, never hits it.

Pros
  • Specifications, photo tests on different sites.
Cons
  • Not working 1.4, flimsy design.
