I bought this bag to transport occasional takeaway orders from our favorite restaurant 40km away. The carrier accommodates warm lunch containers for two while still leaving plenty of room. After worrying that mixing cold salads with hot dishes might get soggy, I successfully solved the problem. I keep salads and dressings in a separate small cooler bag (bought at a local grocery store). Then I put the small bag on top of the bins and closed the top. After my long drive back from the restaurant, the food was hot enough to eat without reheating. Additionally, the small insulating bag kept the salads away from the heat of the container, which kept the crust crisp and kept the dressings from heating up. This carrier is very durable, easy to clean and folds flat for easy storage. I particularly like the handles for carrying this item. He has the choice of transporting from above or using 2 side handles instead. This carrier also solved a big storage problem for us. Last year we bought a 5.8 liter capacity hot air fryer. With frequent use, the cardboard will deteriorate and run out. After not finding a compatible fryer storage container, I tried this medium as a possible solution to the problem. That works great! There is even space for some accessories, an operating manual and a cookbook. I placed the original foam fryer on the bottom of the holder for extra base support and to prevent sagging when carried. (You can also use a 1/4" piece of plywood to line the bottom. Cut a piece about 1" shorter than the inside dimensions of the holder. Just be sure to double tap the edges with tape to avoid tearing Liner to prevent wear of the carrier. 5.8L is 14" square and 16" tall. After my original purchase, I ordered a different carrier to finally solve my storage problem. This tote bag does not wear out. The velcro on the handle always works still good well the lining remains intact with no rips or tears the bag still keeps food at the desired temperature for on the go a large (7 liter) air fryer and the bag fits this size as well as our previous 5.8 -liter model - with plenty of storage space for accessories This is our 3rd bag from this manufacturer.
