Good price! Basically a terrible product!

The price was too good to pass up. You get 6 stencils for a little more than some of them sold individually. The problem is that the stencils themselves vary in quality depending on the size of the stencil figure. The brass ones were good and it was tempting to leave the whole set just for them. But since I already have numbers and letters, I probably won't do that. The large stainless steel came out well, but the icons are mostly computer and social media icons, which aren't very useful in a daily log (unless you're tracking your posts cross-platform). It's all downhill from there for the last three, I think. It doesn't matter that they aren't very useful characters, unless you're simulating with your iPhone by showing the weather you've experienced each day, want to show off your math skills solving problems, or recreate a digital clock , the real problem is as if you didn't test them with real handles when determining the character size. Both the Pilot V5 0.5mm and the Stabilo 88.4mm were severely edge-hung, and the Stabilo was destroyed at the end of sample tracking. The price is right compared to identical individual offers for significantly more. However, upon closer inspection and trial use, they appear to be just mass-produced to capture the journaling craze without actually testing the product design prior to production. For a good set of metal stencils see my Sketchmark metal stencils review.
