While you can connect this controller to the Switch to play the game, you CANNOT change the controls. When you do this, two things will happen. You cannot use the test function to try out the settings you just changed. While you can change the settings on this screen when you start the actual game, they won't be implemented. (Note: this is not a "forgot to click save" issue either). Even after pressing "Save" with the new settings, the controller does not recognize the changes. "If you intend to change controller settings, AVOID THIS CONTROLLER. The controller also feels cheap compared to previous WaveBird and wired Gamecube controllers. It's really disappointing to install a new hit for the first time to make the $50 controller I ordered months in advance not work.
