This is a truly unique shampoo. First, the peppermint smell is very strong (the first few times I used it almost brought tears to my eyes) and it really makes my scalp tingle (for what it's worth). I don't usually have itching/dandruff issues so I can't say if this helps. I could use some help in the thinning department, but it's hard or impossible to tell if it helps outside of a controlled test environment. I will hope for the best. The reason I took off a star is because some of the shampoos I've used make your hair feel like you don't need a separate conditioner (because they use very mild detergents and your hair doesn't feel). dry or rough after use). With this shampoo I feel like my hair needs a separate conditioner after use. This isn't a deal breaker as it's probably best to use a separate term, but it's good to know.
