Review on Hallmark 5-inch Small Holiday Gift Bag with Tissue Paper - Penguin Design by William Stewart

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Not as good as Hobby Lobby but workable

I bought these 3 packs for $14.99 so basically $5 a roll + taxes. This photo is a comparison of what you get with a Hobby Lobby Brother and Sister paper roll. Full price hobby lobby rolls are $7.99, which is a lot for wrapping paper. However, they have frequent sales and I bought mine at 50% off so the price is lower than these rolls for a LOT more paper and quality. Hobby Lobby paper is thick, durable and beautiful. It was hard to find this year so I took a chance ordering the paper online and went with Hallmark because other reviews said it was the best paper. It's so much better than what I've gotten at the dollar store in the past, cute prints and thicker, and the flip function gives you a variety of patterns that you don't get at Hobby Lobby. But "the best there is" is not. I had to be careful not to overtighten it for fear of breaking it. Scissors sliding freely across Hobby Lobby paper would snag and tear that paper when cutting. The convenience of first class delivery and not leaving home during a pandemic is a huge plus so this year it will fit. But for those wondering if this paper fits your alternatives. Hobby Lobby's Brother and Sister paper is by far the best product.
