Review on πŸ’¨ BEAUTURAL Steamer for Clothes: Portable Handheld Garment Fabric Wrinkle Remover with Fast 30-Second Heat-up, Auto-Off, and Large Detachable Water Tank by Rob Marsh

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The picky mommy from the pageant is here.

As a mom at a beauty pageant, I spend a lot of time steaming dresses and outfits. I'm always looking for a steamer that 1) quickly reduces wrinkles, 2) doesn't spit out water, and 3) is easy to use. A few weeks ago my Shark handheld steamer broke so I had to replace it. I looked at expensive floor/tank models and other hand held steamers and carefully researched several brands and models. Experience has taught me that metal/steel heads work better than plastic heads when removing wrinkles. (Also, plastic heads are prone to more condensation, leading to water stains on clothing.) So a metal head was a must. Usually metal head models are more expensive so I was surprised when I found this one for $35. I kept skipping it, thinking the low price meant it was lower quality. But I keep coming back to this model for its features and price. I love that this steamer has a locking button so I don't have to hold it down while cooking. (I had to hold down the button on my Shark and hated it.) Glad I tried this model. It does the same job as $200 steamers and because it's small I can easily travel with it. It's very similar to my Shark but not as heavy and works better. There are a few things I'd like to change (and I'd pay more for these upgrades): 1. I wish the cable was a little longer.2. I'm concerned about the durability of the plastic buttons/controls. 3) The place where water is poured into the tank is a little difficult to navigate. (On my last steamer, I only carried a bottle of water for convenience.) The opening on this one is very small, so I hope I don't forget the pouring cup that came with it.

Pros
  • Brilliantly done
Cons
  • There is negativity
