In general, I recommend this, but you need to disassemble the entire controller
Before you buy this item, I suggest you to make sure you know Xbox controller well and have assembly experience. It's very cool and I love the color, I just didn't want to risk damaging my controller. It's almost impossible to even get through the faceplate on the Elite 2, so if you're not Re, go for it. But I'm still under warranty so I'll wait, I might buy it again but I don't need it right now. Overall I recommend it though.
