They look good and keep you warm when you can wear them. My son is 3 years old and usually wears a size 9 and I always buy shoes one size up so I bought him a size 10. To put them on my feet I have to remove the liner and put it on my foot. and then put it in a real boot. The insert itself is very thick. If your child has chubby feet, go up at least 2-3 sizes because they are tight. Unfortunately I needed it to have the boots on the day they arrived so I couldn't return them and order a size or two up.
