Easy to use. The auto shutdown described by many is not a problem for me. I bought it for social distancing outdoor visits in winter but found two major downsides. You can't use an extension cord, so you have to sit a few feet away from the heater, and you can't plug anything else into the outlet that this heater is plugged into. So we only have one outlet in our garage and one on our patio, so one pair is warm and the other is freezing. I thought "heat stroke" - the highest setting - would be very warm, but it's just warm in the garage. I'll probably keep it to warm up a guest in the future, but I won't solve my problem as a whole. Update - switched to indoor operation and quickly and efficiently heated a small room to the lowest temperature. Calm.
