I had my doubts! I'd unwrapped it and it poofed somewhat immediately but its encasing fabric remained wrinkly as if it had a way to go before it was fully expanded. Maybe 3-4 hours later, it had filled out very nicely and I slept better than I have in quite some time.A little bit of the backstory:I bought my first Bed-in-a-Box about 2 weeks ago. My selection was a 10-inch "medium firm" because I'd read one can always get more plushness in a decent topper. For almost those entire 2 weeks I awakened each day not refreshed and every bone in my body was unhappy. So I began looking for a topper (and by looking, I mean researching!) I totally lucked out when I found this one.A bonus - a big bonus to me - is it is washable.If you find yourself needing just a little extra plush softness, and you also want to be able to wash it a couple times a year, this is the one.[I'll update this review after washing. It's well made to my eye, so I expect to have good things to say -- however, I'll be honest no matter my experience.]
