Installed on an air compressor to track running hours. The counter is now at about 3 hours and is tracking the run time as intended. Disappointed that this product comes with limited instructions although I was able to get the information needed to install it on my air compressor. The only suggestion is an installation guide. TO UPDATE. Shortly after I wrote the first review, the counter stopped counting. I contacted the seller who quickly refunded my money. The seller also offered me another type of meter at a significant discount. The new meter is square and I have a round meter hole so I did not order the suggested replacement. Disappointing as I lost a few hours of work due to a meter failure but I think you get what you pay for. Since then, the meter has been exchanged for one from an industrial supply company. More expensive but the overall quality of the product looks better
